GMAT FAQs
01What is a good GMAT Focus score?
Around 645–685 is competitive for many good programmes, and the most selective MBAs see averages above that. Check each school’s class profile.
02Is the GMAT Focus harder than the old GMAT?
It is shorter and has no sentence correction or essay, but adds Data Insights. Scores are on a different scale, so old and new scores are not directly comparable.
03Do I need work experience before the GMAT?
No, you can take it any time, and scores last five years. Most full-time MBAs expect work experience when you apply, but many business master’s programmes do not.
04Can I take the GMAT online?
Yes. It is available at test centres and online.
